Creating & Sending Quotes

Click New Quote on the dashboard. Select an existing customer or create one inline by typing their name. Add line items from your saved services, or enter a custom item on the fly. Adjust quantities and prices per item, add notes to give context, and attach photos if needed.

Free plan: 1 photo per quote. Pro: unlimited photos.

Once your quote is ready, click Send. You have three delivery options:

• Email — sends a formatted email with a link to the quote page
• SMS — sends a text message with the quote link
• Copy Link — copies the shareable URL to your clipboard

You can use multiple channels at the same time.

BidCannon tracks where every quote stands automatically:

• Draft — saved but not yet sent
• Sent — delivered to the customer
• Viewed — customer opened the quote page
• Accepted — customer clicked Accept
• Declined — customer clicked Decline

Status updates happen automatically — no manual tracking needed.

To reuse a quote as the starting point for a new one, open the quote and click the ⋮ menu → Duplicate. A new draft is created with the same line items, so you can adjust and send without starting from scratch.

Customers can send you messages directly from the quote page — no login required. You'll receive an email notification for each message and can reply from your dashboard. Conversations are tied to the quote so the full context is always in one place.

Unread message counts appear as badges on the dashboard.

Attach photos during quote creation to show the scope of work. Photos appear directly on the customer's quote page and in email notifications. Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP.
